Good college

Admission is through an entrance examination called KEAM. To attempt KEAM entrance one should have to complete plus two for the Science stream. And should get a minimum of 50%. Application forms, application dates, and other related things will be updated on the KEAM official site. The result is also published on the same site. There are reservations for minorities, SC, ST, and OBC. Sometimes the site is soo lagging and it takes more time to load.

I love engineering from childhood onwards that's why I took engineering. I am privatized in electronics as it has a vast area to enhance our skills and potential. There are different teachers for each subject. The ratio to faculty and student is 2:15. The faculties are well educated and have completed their Ph.D. also. The teaching method is mainly through ppt. There are two series in each sem. A total of 5 modules are there in a subject. And for the first series, the 2.5 module will be there. The difficulty is based on how students write their exam

As I am only in the second year, internship opportunities are not started yet. Internship opportunities will be informed by our faculties itself. MOOC courses and NPTEL courses should be also there. Faculties will provide all information and guidelines about internships.

From the third year or S5 onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies such as TATA, Q burst, quest, Infosys, technopark, Infopark, BYJUS, federal bank, Wipro, etc. visiting our college. Last year 300+ offers are made. 10 lakh is the highest salary package offered. And 5lakh is the average. In the previous year out of the 63students, 54 are placed. After my B. Tech, i will be doing MTech or MBA.

As it is a government college there is no scholarship. It took 50000 per year for the ones who got admission through the government quota. And it is 80000 for the management quota. And about 1.25 lakhs for the NRI quota. The tuition fee is 36500 only. The above-mentioned are the total fees including the KTU fee, PTA fee, art fee, etc.

CAW cult away is the cultural fest of SCTCE. CAW is a gem for all SCTians. It is a program of 3days. Advent is our tech-fest. Our college lacks a sports ground. And sports day is conducted at Chandrasekhar stadium. But there are related faculties for sports. There are many social groups like NSS, IEEE, etc. I am an NSS volunteer and an IEEE member. These two give me many opportunities to open up myself and to perform my skills and potential. Our college has the best NSS and IEEE group in Kerala.

The hostel fees are different for all depending on the room they are staying in. In my hostel, there are single rooms, double rooms, and dormitories. It costs an average of 5000 per month. There are two beds, one table, and 2shelfs. Bathrooms and toilets are common for all. We have to clean our rooms ourselves. Food is sometimes ok and sometimes bad. And the main problem is that our college doesn't have a college hostel. Registration is a simple process. We can get registration after seeing the infrastructure and agreeing on the norms and conditions. Advance and quotient deposits should be given during registration. It should cost a minimum of 8000. karakkamandapam is the locality of my hostel which is 1.7km away from my college
