SCTCE IS GOOD FOR PLACEMENTS AND COLLEGE LIFE

I have written keam entrance examination to get into the college We should get a rank under 10k to get admission in merit seat under state merit category there are many reservation for MU BH OEC and SC ST categories. We can take admission in ECE in management seat if you have under 33k. we must attend and pass the keam examination to get admission in sree chithra thirunal college of engineering.After comepleting KEAM and after the results are published there will be rank list published then rankwise you get alloted according to your option entry that you have given.

I choose the college because all over kerala the college that comes best in placement after CET,GEC THRISSUR ,Model engineering college is SCT college that is halfy govt based college. I chose Ece because it deals with both hardware and software an ec engineer can go in both hardware and software filed.All the faculties are good and experienced but you must listen to their class and take notes simulantaneously for future help.Most of the teachers have phd's and many are mtech qualified and possess high knowledge about what they teach.student ratio is about 60 students per class ece has two batches total containing 120 students. there are two series exams conducted before the main semester exams. These series exams decides our internal marks they are of average level.

semester 6 students gets on campus intership for students and all other semester students can apply for intership and can do intership and get duty leave for interships oru college is supportive in every interships and placements

from semester 6 students are eligible for campus placements.many companies has visited the college this year and about 134 offers are made mainly TCS , infosys wipro tata elexi and many other companies come for placement.the highest package was 11lac per anum and the lowest was 3 lac per anum.about 80 % of students in each class gets placed every year. my plan to crack gate and get a psu or to get job in mnc

The merit seat of keam have fees of ?48000 per year but there are extra charges for semester registeration pta fund and other funds and the total fee per year for state merit is ?55000 per year. The fees for management is ?68000 per year and other extra charges are applied and the fees is ?85000 per year.The best students with high rank get fee waveir scholorship and have to play only the remaining charges of the college that is ?10000 per year.And for OEC state merit category is ?1000 for state merit per year + extra charges

The CULT A WAY is the cultural fest of SCTCE. Whole trivandrum knows the fest and it longs 3 days all the 3 days there will be proshows and this fest is conduted every year. there is arts for sct that is conducted inside the campus and that longs for 2 days. there will be programs every week conducted by special group of every branches.SCTCE library is very good there is all books available inside library ans there is no fee for library membership.class room is of normal type with raised platform for teachers and about 15 bench and desk for students and with projectors and boards.sports is inadequate in sctce there is no ground for college but football and other sports are conducted in other public grounds.there is many clubs for each branch that is run by students itself

Sct college does not have any hostel but there is many hostels for boys and girls assciated with the college namely beta hostel for boys and ashiyana hostel for girls.The quality of meal is good and per month the hostel charges ?5500 and there and many more hostels and pg near the college premisis
