Remarks
I took JEE mains exam and on behalf of that, I applied through JOSAA and got a seat here in the civil branch. But later I applied for sliding and got an ECE branch. This college is for students who do have not a very good score on entrance exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
Due to the location as it is in j & k and also it's a government college that makes it something you can go for. The faculty to students ratio is average. Qualification depends from faculty to faculty and branch to branch if you want the best faculties you should probably opt for CSE or Mechanical. Exams are like this for each semester 2 minor exams(20 of each) are taken and a major of 50 marks and the remaining 10 numbers are of quizzes and assignment, if you are an average student you will find it easy to pass as they only ask whatever example they solved in classroom
Fees and Financial Aid
For 2019 batch fees were around 60000 per semester and the hostel + mess will be around 50000 along with some annual fees of 15000 and security fees (only one time and refundable) is 10000. And the hike is very comparable for 20,21 batches. You get 2 kinds of scholarships here 1 based on jee mains rank 2 based on your academics performances
Campus Life
As it is a new college so these things are still under development. You will get a very good (probably) best in this category LIBRARY. For the fests, I will say it's average. New groups and clubs are forming but the lockdown impacted it very much
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is also average, in the first year you have to share a room with another student and later on depending on your branch you will get a single room. Mess facilities include 4 times meals a day without any gaps. At our time hostel and mess were compulsory facilities, But now students are getting an option (only local students) of day boarding. coming to affordability yes it's pretty much easily affordable for many of you.
