Keam is the way to enter any government college or government-controlled college in Kerala. some private colleges also check eligibility as per the team rank.The application form is available in cee site every year in the month of march or Feb. admission process through Kem is easy. we just need to pass the examination high rank in team invites scholarships

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics is the best in this college with excellent lab facilities and high placement records. by choosing ECE. we can go to both software and hardware field. faculty is good and there are many faculty 1 teacher for 60 students 1:60 is the teacher-student ratio in every class. many teachers are highly qualified and attained high technological knowledge. monthly there are a series exams they are the exams that decide our internal marks the internal examinations are tough it depends on the subject and students

Placement Experience

sixth-semester students are eligible to sit for placements. many companies have visited the college for placement mainly Infosys tata Alexi tata consultancy services and many tech companies and no tech like Mahindra tata and many others the highest package was? 10 lacs and the lowest was 4 lacs about 90% of students get placed every year in every class

Fees and Financial Aid

students who have scored good ranks in team get the university fee waiver scheme. there are many reservations for different categores. the fee for state merit per year is 36000 and for management is 68000 there are many other charges regarding committee and institutional development funds the books need to be bought separately.

There are many fests for sct the main and famous cultural fest of sct is CULT a Way which is famous everywhere. the classroom is of good ambiance with essential amenities present. the sports of sct are weak there is no ground for football and there is no auditorium for sct. there are many social groups NSS is active in college and there are many inter-college groups namely cest for electronics department and many more

Hostel Facilities

the hostel is private for sct there are no hostels the room has a minimum of 3 members with good facilities meal is of average level and there is no specific menu. the food is hygenic and tasty it depends on the food. no registration process for hostels in sct. the locality is nearly 800m from the college

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. Students can also join this college by nri quota without any entrance exam by giving more fees.I got admission in ece in sctce in the keam 1st allotment itself....Read More

A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
