admission process is carried out through keam in sree chithra thirunal college of engineering. higher rank students gets admission in best colleges of kerala.application form is available on the kerala entrance website.The process of admission is easy.

i chose AI and macine learning beacuse i am more excited to study about machine learning. the student faculty ratio is satisfactory. the faculty is highly exprienced and supportive. there will two series examinations that is tough and needs more effort to pass

placement in sct is good and there are many companies that visit our college yearly for placements the main visitors are TCS, infosys and many more with an average package of 6 to 7 lakhs the highest package was ?1100000 and lowest was around 400000 about 80% of students gets placed in every class. my plans is to get placement from sct college.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees structure of merit seat is 36000 per year and it is same for all branch there are extra fees for books and other pta funds. management fee is nearly 70000 per year there are many scholorships available like NSP, mcm , e grantz etc.

Campus Life

the infrastructure of the college is satisfactory it needs improvement but the lab facilities are good and the library is well stocked with bookd and we can get libraray membership for free. sct is good at sports and all the teachers and seniors are supportive. there are many social groups in the college ran by both students and teacher.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
