Real truth of Hansraj college

A suggestive percentage of 4 subjects is taken at my time which includes maximum marks in any of the language papers + marks in the course you opt for( for example I took BSc math hon. So my class 12th maths marks will be concluded)+ maximum marks in other 2 subjects.

I choose BSc maths hon. Because I want to put maths as my optional in UPSC civil services exam. The college faculty is good. Everything is formalities staff do not pay attention whether you study or not boring college life. There is a semester-wise examination.

I didn't do any internship nor do I have any interest but there are a lot of internships so far I remember there was an announcement of a vice chancellor internship which provides around 5000 per month sorry I don't have much information about the internship.

Fees per year are 20000-24000 which means that 2000 per month. College provides various scholarships like inspire scholarship which provide 60000 per year if you scored 7 cgpa in the respective years and many more like Kaushal etc. also college and the university of Delhi provide various internship.

The fest happens every month there are various societies in college like haritima, NSS, etc. and there are events every month also great personalities are coming to college to inaugurate the event. I think that the library of Hansraj college is the best of all the libraries of other colleges at DU. Classrooms are spacious with a projector fitted.

The hostel has 137 rooms which it allows to accommodate around 200 students means 2 students in one room. You are provided 1 bed,1 table chair, and 1 separate and 1 joint almirah. There is no cooler or ac so students feel very uncomfortable in a humid season Food is ok, green campus, little ragging. Students are registered on merit and it also depends on the distance from your home to Delhi.
