Entrance Preview
KIITEE I ranked among the first 1000 candidates who appeared. This college had great campus placement records, good facility for students, and I got the stream I desired.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college had more than 20 department, starting from Medical-Engineering-Law-Dental_Fashion Technology. It had proper course facilities for all departments, starting from study materials, to lab amenities to infrastructure. There were well-equipped classrooms and lab facilities along with Project/Research support.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. The stipend depends upon the course and domain. Experience required is from 2 years of graduation (running) and above.
Placement Experience
The placement drive was the best part of this institute. Companies that visited our campus and recruited from our batch were Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Shapoorji & Pallonji, Bosch, Ericsson, Inautix (All 3.5 l.p.a & above), XL Dynamics, Byjus, Capgemini.
College Events
Kritansh, KIIT Fest 2013,2014,2015,2016, Women's Day, Independence Day, Annual Sports meet, Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Teacher's Day. Several popular stars Sunidhi Chauhan, Swara Bhaskar, Salim-Sulaiman, Nandana Sen greeted our college grounds on such events and feats.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's expensive I must say! Tuition fee was INR 50 thousand per semester+prospectus fee of rupees 500 INR, Caution money 2 thousand INR, That is 4,02,500 INR per year. Also there were mess fees of around INR 50 thousand per year.But at the end of the day,all the private colleges nowadays have such fee structure more or less.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there were many,though I did not avail any,but during my admission itself,there were too many monetary institution were offering loans.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was appreciable. There were regular events, and lots of societies starting from Robotics, Drama, Aero, Singing,Dancing, Painting, Photography, debate club, art making, marketing. Different students from different parts of the country joined there, also from foreign countries too.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities were luxurious. Food was also upto the mark. We were served Breakfast,Lunch,Snacks and Dinner each day. There was separate arrangements for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Chicken was served thrice a week,we had spacious rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
We have a good alumni network, and several alumni meet ups are held at different parts of the country. The seniors are really helpful and co-operative when needed.
Exam Structure
Exams were divided into mid-semesters of 25 marks, and end-semesters of 75 marks, which included both theory & practical papers. Each semester comprised of 5-6 months, and had one mid-sem & one end-semesters. It was not very frequent, and had the expected gap required in between
Admission
After the results were declared for KIITEE, I attended the counselling process in the BBSR campus. According to our rank, I got to choose the branch I wanted to opt for. Post that, we deposited the admission fees,and joined in the month of August. Admission process was quite simple throughout.
Faculty
The faculty was highly-qualified and well-read. There were different faculty for each subject, specialized in that particular subject. They were knowledgeable and helpful , and made our understanding of the subject better in both basics of theory,as well lab and applicable practicals.
