Remarks

I gave wbjee exam which is conducted every year by West Bengal govt for admission into govt and private engineering colleges in the state.However other state student can opt only private engineering colleges of the state

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I have interest in coding and artificial intelligence therefore I opted it branch of the college.Class strength is 60.Teachers are helpful and guide through every exam.all teacher are Post graduates.If you study well there is no difficulty to pass the exam

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students are eligible to sit in campus placement drive. TCS Wipro Capgemini tech Mahindra etc. Visits our campus every year Highest package is around 15lakh per annum while average is 5lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

470000 is the tuition fees without hostel but you can find many pg nearby.College hostel is also available but food here is not so good. You can avail scholarship if you belong to same state.Placement of the college is just average

Campus Life

Every year tech fest is organised in July. A library is available in which you can find all necessary books.Classroom is just average with all digital access. Sports teams are also there and various clubs are available

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
