Excellent Campus for Education and Life

For getting admission to Cochin University of Science and Technology we need to clear an exam known as Common Admission Test(CAT). And based on the ranks we achieved, we will get admission to a variety of courses in the university. There are also reservation benefits given in the admission process. All the application processes for the test are done online. No need for any improvement in the admission process.

I have chosen Information Technology as my course because I really wanted it. I am really into computers and it's technologies so I mainly preferred the Information Technology course. The faculty provided are very good, friendly and well-qualified. The faculty-student ratio is perfect. The term exams are conducted at regular intervals and the difficulty can be said to be a moderate.

There are so many companies that provide internships. One of them is an NGO where the students will work as Ai/Ml interns, animator interns, Data analysis interns etc. The campus will give us about one and a half months to do our internships.

The students will be eligible for campus placements in the seventh semester and a lot of companies will start to come to recruit students with excellent packages. About 50-90 companies will come with a package ranging from 3-10 LPA. The highest package given is 11 LPA and the lowest is 3lpa. Almost 90% of the students will be placed after the course. My plan is to get placed in a well-reputed company.

The fees have to be given in all the semesters. For merit students, it's Rs 26000 per semester and for others, it's Rs 52000 per semester. And it is also given according to the reservation where OEC students can study free of cost and SC/ST students have to give only Rs 200 per semester. And they can avail of different scholarships also. The placement given is also pretty good where companies will come and offer jobs that give a package of 3-10 LPA.

Life at the Campus is the best. There are so many tech fests, cultural fests etc. The important fest conducted on the campus is Dhishna which is a tech fest conducted by the students of the School Of Engineering. The campus also provides a well-lit and arranged Library for students.
