Remarks

It was very easy if we come with the correct documents it is very easy. For entering, the college there is a CAT exam, which there is a cut-off for finding application forms there is faculty to help.

I choose this. Course because I am a CS student in +2 so I choose I am interested in coding. The faculty is very nice to interact with us they take class very well. The faculty are permanent staff. The teaching should be made something better. After each sem, there will be exams that are not much difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Cisco, TCS, and many more companies they are the many companies that allowed an internship with a stipend and it is 1 month and more time to get an internship. The project done by us is a game development.

Placement Experience

For attending the placement the students for S7 can attend it. The companies are Cisco, TCS, Cognizant, and many others the packages are 10 lakh, and 20 lakh, and no supply should not be there. my plan after the degree is to study a foreign language on the same campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

I enter my college by sports quota so I should pay 45000 in 1 sem so I am paying too much amount. They should reduce fees for sports students. I don't get any scholarship in college. The scholarship is based on caste and other reservations.

Campus Life

Dishna was the biggest fest we were attend in college and it is conducted in February one month tech fest. There a 2 library one main and one for the department, I think it Is very good. Sports are very supportive every year there would be an annual sports meet in the total campus. The social group is the student community which is well-known on campus.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

My journey at CUSAT: A students perspective

I also wrote KEAM exam along with CUSAT in which I was able to secure a rank well enough to get Mechanical Engineering in CET, Trivandrum which I got in allotment. But since my mind was already set to take ECE as my degree due to my interest and passion for electronics and computers. And yes I do recomment CUSAT to everyone. To join CUSAT you have to write the CUSAT CAT entrance exams and then the seat are allotted based on the rank you earn in the entrance examinations. And usually a rank around 1k can get you CS, 1.5k can get you ECE and SFE, 2k can get you IT, 3.5k can get you EE and 7k can get you ME and CE....Read More
