I was enrolled in this college through WBJEE counseling. I have secured the rank 34942. I got into this college under the TFW quota. My stream is Electronics and Communication Engineering. Through this tfw quota, my admission fees got reduced to 38k from 83k.

First of all JIS group is a brand name that provides quality education to its collaborated college. This Institution not only collaborated with the JIS group but also can say this is the main campus of JIS. It is also affiliated with MAKAUT but unlike other institutions, this college is an autonomous Institute. This college is NAAC accredited and also holds quiet a top position in the NIRF ranking than any other pvt college. This institute first started the concept of FLIPPED LEARNING. The faculty members are very experienced. All labs are equipped with perfect instruments as per requirement. Classrooms are well designed. Two internals occur in between semester exams. Exams are definitely easy to score well if u remain sincere in class.

I'm not aware of the on-campus college internships. But college helps us to get internships at NPTEL, internal, Coursera, etc. Colleges make their students indulge in making projects from the first year which would make one's CV look more standard from a placement pov.

From 6th -7th sem students are eligible for on-campus placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc are the mass recruiter of this college. The average package goes for 5 LPA. But other than average, students also get 8-10 LPA packages. Around 85% of students got placed in the previous batch and the college has predicted to make it 90%by this year. My plan after getting the degree is to shake hands with the company in which I would be placed.

Like the general Pvt Institute, the fee structure for BTech in jisce stands at 4.8 Lakhs for 4 yrs. Here u get the opportunity for various scholarships like SVMCM, oasis, NSP, etc. Also if you are Bengal-domiciled u can apply for West Bengal Student Credit Card (student loan). And if u r from other states like Bihar then also ur loan money can be easily sanctioned like DRCC. I am studying here under the TFW quota(only for Bengal-domiciled candidates) and my course for 4 yrs is 1.05 lakhs.

Yes, college fest occurs annually most probably in January. And every year college organizes TECH FEST where students from any branch, any year can participate. There are around 90K books and 225 journals. Well-developed libraries and book banks are there, no need to purchase any book u get easily from college. Internet browsing rooms are also there along with digitized books. The college has many clubs like NCC, NSS, PHOTOGRAPHY, CODING, SPORTS, MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA, TREKKING, GK & QUIZ, SCIENCE, etc.
