Remarks

Good and still more to improve with more PG orientation studies. And increased MEU programs. One of the best colleges of Karnataka which comes under the rguhs. Top4 rank in Govt medical colleges. With well-developed multi-specialty hospital and Cham Rajendra hospital as an old branch. Excellent coaching with well-equipped library lab and 4 lecture hall. And more than 50 demonstration room/

Entrance Preview

Karnataka CET conducts counseling for 85℅ seats .and AIPMT remaining 15℅ seats.kcet counseling through neet qulifier from this academic year and previously kcet exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Every year a fest and numerous camps are made.And the fest lasts for about one and half month .with literature kannada and finally sports every weekend of fest. And finally 5days of inter college fest. And cultural events are fulfilled and is at February every year

Exam Structure

No a pleasant lab with good specimens are there and its not hectic because we spend more time in laboratory than in theory classes . And exams are trimester and some heavy syllabus to cover overnights. And new system of RGUHS RS3 has brought down the fear

Admission

Karnataka examination authority conducts online counseling where you have to enter your choice and after some days it displays the eligible colleges and You have mark ok and pay fees online .and on sameday with provisional certificate you can join college by going to university section in college

As said each department has HOD with a qualifications of MD and specialation .and assistant professor may be 15-20 years experienced MD holder or a 20years experienced PhD graduate Associate professor of MBBS MD qualifications with 10 years experience and tutors are PG students and MD qualified.

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
