Remarks
I appeared for WBJEE 2019. I got a rank of 6700. At that time Techno Main IT minimum cutoff was 6750 rank. But I haven't applied for IT. I got ECE whose cutoff was an 8K rank. It was one of the finest colleges in West Bengal at this rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
As Techno Main Salt Lake is affiliated with MAKAUT. So all the course curricula are of MAKAUT. It has good faculty members. Faculty are supportive in nature. And attendance does not matter here. But be attentive in practicals. No assignment tension.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is based on student knowledge and desire to learn and earn. If u are good at coding you will get an internship in 3rd year of college. Also, many students get placemts+ internship both in 4th year. This makes them financially independent.
Placement Experience
Campusing starts here from 6 th sem. If you have good commands in coding you will get good packages here. Packages may vary from high package of 40 lpa to 3.25 lpa.Companies like product based Amazon, Dell to Service based mass recuiter recruit in this college. Getting placement is too easy from this college. Almost 90% students are placed if you are from best 3 branches of this college(CS, IT, EC) 50-60% students placed in other branches. Core lovers will hate placements. Very few company of core domain recruit here.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the First Semester of my admission, the fee was 76000 including dress. Then for the 2nd semester, it was 65000. Then from 3 rd sem to the last sem, it was 56500 per semester. If you are from West Bengal you will get a lot of scholarship opportunities here. The placement scenario is decent.
Campus Life
The only cons to Techno Main Salt Lake campus are it has a very small size campus or I can say no campus. There are no hostels. The library is small. Annual fest:- Ankuran(Cultural Fest), Edge(Technical Fest), Technotkarsh(Sports Fest), And many other fests too. There are also sports facilities available here in our school.
