We have given an exam of wbjee and by the rank we got. We got admission to this stream and college. Admissions process was simple and good and the counseling process was also good, eligibility for my course is min 45% in 12.

I choose this course because it has a good knowledge of core and both IT sector. We have learned both things in perfection. the faculty-student ratio is 1:6, our faculty is knowledgeable and very supportive, the exams are on every 6 months and it is moderate to pass with limited knowledge also about the subject.

4th-semester students are eligible for the placement, there are many companies that visit colleges ey, it, as Amazon, Salesforce, and many offers are made by these companies. the highest placement offer is 22 LPA and avg placement is 5 LPA. 100% placement is there.

The fee structure of the college is 4.83lpa, there are various scholarships for the domicile category and final assistance is given by the govt of west Bengal. yeah lots of job opportunities are given in this college and we sit in my placement opportunities.

There are many fests in the college sports club, technical club and cultural club and many other clubs are there. we are given books by the library for our studies. there is a sports club which organizes different types of sports and games.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
