Remarks

I had given West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. I got a rank of 8500. After that, I checked the eligibility. And I got Electrical Engg. in Techno Main Salt. And its other thing, that I got Electronics and Communications Engg. through Department Change using my first-semester exam. Through counseling, I got Electrical Engg. I was not having caste reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing Electronics and Communications Engg. from Techno Main Salt Lake. The teachers are nice but not supportive. You have to consistently ask teachers for help. But they will help in case of academic requirements.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the year 2019-2023 in techno main Salt lake, the fee was 56500 per semester. I have not got any scholarship, so I have no idea. In case of financial assistance, you can still apply for the west Bengal student credit card scheme.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in our college. Technical Club - Geekonix Cultural Club - Ankuran NSS Club - Samaritans ? Literary Club - name I don't know Sports Club - Technotkarsh College life in techno is amazing.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
