I'm a 2nd-year student of Shri Shivaji science college. My course is BSc (computer science). My college is as good as other colleges. Big campus all functions are also celebrated in our college. The students could get admission very easily and in my time it was very smooth. The staff was helpful to us.

I choose this course because the Computer is the generation. All things are now getting digital. The faculty is too good at my college they work in their proper manner. Exams are held in two patterns, winter examination, and Summer examination.

Class Size: 1600Course Fees: INR 1150 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is. Admission fees require some documents. There is a difference between the open caste fee structure and Sc, St caste fee structure. Yes, we get scholarships in our college. The campus came in 3yr in our college.

Campus Life

The campus of Shri Shivaji science college is not too huge but it is a nice and pleasant campus we have in our college. Classrooms are good with digital projectors. All sports were held in our college like football, basketball, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
