After the 12th board exam, you are eligible for pursuing BTech. It is a very good college in Kolkata. The average package is around 5 lakhs. The faculty teachers are very good. The timing of classes are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The college is very strict about attendance. It is mandatory in every class. The college is under Makaut.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am pursuing BTech in the information technology department at techno main salt lake. I choose this department because this department's infrastructure is very good. All faculty members are very active. They are dedicated to their work. The teaching method is better than the other departments in the college. At the month's end we have to appear for class assignments and after the 5/6 month semester exam
Internships Opportunities
TCS, Deloitte, Amazon, Accenture, and Wipro have visited and plenty of offers have been made. The highest package obtained so far is 20LPA and the average package is 5LPA. The roles offered are Software development engineer, DevOps engineer, Cloud computing analyst, Full Stack developer, etc. 100% of the students get placed every year.
Placement Experience
After the 6th semester, you are eligible for college placement. In its, department around 98% of students are placed in various companies in on-campus placement. like TCS, cognizant, Accenture, amazon etc. I am also planning to get a high-paying job from an on-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total amount of the course fee is 470000. In the first semester, we have to pay around 79800. In the next semester 66000. after the 2 nd semester, we have to pay 58000 till the 8th semester. You can apply for scholarships and credit cards from the wb govt also.
Campus Life
Techno main salt lake has one of the biggest college campuses in Kolkata. It has 2 ground. The name of the annual fest is ankuran and the name of the department fest is inspired. There is a big library room in the college. There is also a sports fest in the college where you can participate in cricket, football and many interesting games. There are some social clubs in college named Samaritan, Samarth, geekonix etc
