You can apply on the rank of WBJEE/JEE MAINS, You have to be in the top 4-5K for getting admission to CSE Branch. You can apply directly from the Management quota also. There is reservation based on the system of WBJEE decided,80% of admission is done by WBJEE and 20% by Management and JEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

From childhood, I want to learn about coding, and machine learning things, that's why I choose CSE, faculty of CSE in our college is decent, one negative point about this, is there is no research department in our college if want to research then you have to work individually. Though the teachers are really comforting and helpful.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 493000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of Our college is Around 4.93lakh but this year fee is 5.93lakh as per the trend now every year the fee is getting hiked, There is a TWF section for the economically weaker section but for that you have secured a very good rank for that.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of our college is very okay, if you want to enjoy full campus life, then you will be not much happy as there are sports available but not on a larger basis, Apart from that, every year clubs organize different and various culture or tech fest.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
