Remarks

I took admission through wbjee entrance , admission process was average ,it was bit time consuming,overall it was good only ,the college overall gives very good output to the amount that is being invested in the college

Till now the exams have been online, certainly as the exam was online it was easy to score all the students score preety good marks, but now the semester is going to be in offline mode and also the semester exam is going to be difficult to score

My plan is to get the worthy placement , if that is good then ok otherwise will start the business, most of the students are getting placed depending on the efforts they put and the skill they develope.

I have not applied for any scholarship not any internship.the output that college gives to the output is very high.so overall performance is very high...and good results are given by the college.....so good

There are many social groups like samaratians in our college that perform the social work ... They reach to the people in need and help with them the food and clothes they need . They are doing good work .

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
