Review of my college Tezpur University

There are many options by which a student can take admission in this college like jee,by lateral entry in 2nd year.north east students are admitted on the basis of north east quota also in which low jee marks are required for admission through this mode.Also 40% seat are reserved for students from jee excluding north east quota while remaining 60% are reserved for north east quota students.If a student has low marks in jee due to which he is not getting nit then you must consider this over most of gfti.

Student teacher ratio is 1:10. Faculties here are highly qualified most of them are Ph.D. from iits, foreign universities or months. Exams. Soana Seth mam, Biplop Sarkar sir, Lokesh Mohan sir, Pankaj Kumar Gogoi sir are few faculties here. Exam are more frequent here. If you are taking admission here then keep in mind that exams will frequently happen at an interval of 1 or 2 months. Exams are easy to pass if you have studied attentively in class.

There are many companies that offer internship both paid and unpaid.some of them are C-DAC,Brainayan,L & t ecc.coin DCX.I have written internships considering all branches.For civil psu NHIDCL has provided paid internship.

Almost all students are placed who study hard in college.placement percentage is less but considering north east quota having 60% students admitted also on 200000 to 500000 rank placement is good if you neglect those students.Keep in mind if you study well here then you will end up getting job after 4 years.If you don't study well then you might not get job.so come in this college only when you are sure that you will study.

1st semester fees:34243. fees from 2nd semester to 8th semester:26943 so total fees including tution and hostel fees:222844,which is less from btech course point of view.placement here are ok ok type not very good not very bad.If you are considering placement then placement is good considering the marks based on which you are getting admission here.You can't expect 10 lpa job from civil branch if you have 150000 rank or 170000 rank in jee.

Campus life is awesome here as campus is lush green because of tress planted almost everywhere.Also pollution in campus is almost null.There is a central library which is open till 3:00 am.so you can study in library and prepare for exam like gate.There is a playground which has stadium type light where one can play sports at night also.courts of all sports are available here with very well lighting facility.students practice in basket ball court at midnight also.so you can think of facilities provides here.In library books of almost all subjects are available.You can issue 8 books at a time and can keep that issued book for 15 days.Then you have to renew that book.Personally I believe that central library is the best part of this university having top class facility.There is one computer centre on 1st floor of library where you can take youtube lectures till 1:00 am and net is provided free if you use proxy ID in computer centre of library.

There are 13 hostels available here.5 for men and 8 for women.The hostel is run by the students of respective hostels.A mess manager is appointed which look after quality and types of mess food served here.Considering mess fees of 2200 rs per month,mess food is good.
