I got admitted through EAMCET exam and My rank is 11,751. I have eligibility to opt for any branch in GMRIT. I have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering. Reservations are also there for various categories in EAMCET.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen ECE out of interest. The student to faculty ratio is also about 3:1. The faculty used conventional methods to teach to the maximum extent but when something is important then the put some more efforts to make us understand. The term exams are not that difficult to pass

Internships Opportunities

roughly 5-7 companies like cognizant, hexaware, efftronics, cerium, vihaan electrix, wizardale, waisle etc have offered stipend under interships for students. The tasks are given according to student capability.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for college placements. nearly 30 companies have visited GMRIT this year and on average 4lpa is offered to the students. 70% of the eligible students got their offers and some even got multiple offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are monitored strictly in GMRIT and it is a bit expensive comparitively. Excluding college fee, bus fee, building fund and other fee are also there. for merit students Merit Scholorship is provided. For eligible students JVD is provided by government.

Technical fests will happen frequently. GMRIT have huge library and it also have digital library. both technical and non technical activities are having the department wise clubs and student chapters. one faculty is assigned to each student chapter to moniter the activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.

Well in EAMCET counselling i applied for several colleges across the ap and most of that I want to be in anits collge which is in vizag but I got this college in my counselling but I never regret to be in gmrit and well my rank is not enough to get the seat in Anits collge but exams are moderate as I said before you can easily score by previous year papers and overall admission process is quite good and our collge accepts cse below 10k rank you can easily get the seat of you are good enough score marks in EAMCET and my college helps a lot of people and have several connections with reputated companies which is quite helpful to students to get new jobs...Read More

Campus life in gmrit and placements in gmrit
