Satisfied with college facilities

Overall the college management is good and i am satisfied.

I scored 162 marks in JEE-Mains and got 74 percent in HSC so i got this college, I have heard about it from friends and family and decided to go fir this college

The course curriculum was pretty good. Initially in first year every branch or stream was having similar syllabus. There were basics covered about all fields in engineering. Practical were conducted everyday on each subject so it was pretty easy to understand practical application of those concepts. From second year onwards it was focused on selected branch and almost all different domains were covered. In third year mini project and seminar were there which helped to apply the knowledge gained in these years. Currently in final year i am working on a major project.

The college doesn't provide internship inclusively, but provide the internship opportunities available. If we want to go for internship externally then college provide full support.

Since the college is well reputed there are many job opportunities and placements in the college. TNP cell of the college comprise all the colleges in the sinhgad brand. There are many companies like Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, eqTechnologic, Persistent, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Which take placement drive in our campus.

Karandak is the major event which is held once in a year. It comprises of all the major events. All the cultural, technical and management festival is there in karandak. Many other colleges come and compete with our college and it is a reputed event in pune.

Fee structure is provided by the Savitribai Phule Pune University and it isn't in control by college. Fees for open category is around 1 lakh. It will be reduced for OBC, SC and ST. Hostel fees is not included in college fees. Considering engineering course and my family condition it is feasible. But again it depends on person to person.

I have no idea about the loan facility and scholarship. But i think there is a facility for EBC to avail the scholarship.

Being engineering college male ratio is higher. Overall life till now in campus is a fun. Fresher party and farewell parties had an amazing experience. Every year there are 2 events carnival and karandak. Carnival is like fair for new freshers and welcoming them. And Karandak is a major event in which all the sinhgad campus from different location unite and organize big event. Major competition, workshop and everything happens in here.

Hostel facility in the campus is very good. There are more than 15 Hostel available. There is special hostel for NRI students with special facilities like washing machine and kitchen. There is a common room in hostel where extra facilities can be shared by all the students in the hostel. Hostel fees is 60k with 5k deposit. Mess is included in hostel fees and it is fine. There are many different mess but one will be assigned at admission. If required we can request for mess change at estate office.

The senior in the college are always helpful and quite friendly. There are frequent visits of alumni who share their experience and guide how to work to shape the career.

Exam structure is provided by the Savitribai Phule Pune University so our college can't control it. But they are conducted properly and there is sufficient gap between two exams. Labs are conducted with 3 days gap and after that there is more than half month of preparation leave so that we can prepare accordingly.

I got admission on the basis of my score in jee mains and HSC and it was followed by CAP round. I got this college in cap round 1 and I didn't wait to try in other 2 rounds. Since I got Computer Engineering course therefore i didn't wait. During the admission process the college made it quite simple. They provided the map of location and peocess of admission and there was a continuous support for any queries. Overall it was a very good experience.

Faculty in our college are well qualified. They all are available for the students (especially those who are genuinely interested). Most of them are very interested to share their knowledge as much as possible. Faculties work very hard to teach the students in order that we can understand easily.
