Course Curriculum Overview
Our course includes a variety of subjects which includes theories and Labs. Although each student needs to study their department subjects, along with this students have a complete some other department subjects which they are allowed in OEs and ESOs. The curriculum is still som how old but is taught by the most qualified faculty. Professors are very much qualified and faculty to students ratio is approximately 7:1
Internships Opportunities
Companies are invited to hire interns. Although major companies which come to hire are Software companies only, very less come for other profiles. The stipend varies from 2 Lakh to 20K and research interns are ofter offers 5 Lakh. PPOs' conversion rate is also very good.
Placement Experience
Campus placement really improves every year. CDC, the career development centre SCPT, students coordinator placement team of our college plays a major role. The average package ranges from 17-19 Lakh while the median salary ranges from 15-16 Lakh. CSE, ECE, EE, M&C and Petroleum Engineering have incredible placement. Most of the students prefer to go for jobs and very less go for UPSC, GATE, MBA etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester tuition fee is 100000Rs., if students don't avail of any fee waiver or mcm scholarship. Although if you have an annual income of less than 5 Lakh you are availed 66% fee waiver on tuition fees and if your income is less than 1 Lakh 100% tuition fee waiver. Merit cum scholarship is also availed to eligible students. Along with this students can avail of state scholarships if required for eg: MMVY (for M.P. students)
Campus Life
The college is situated in the heart of the city of Dhanbad. The inside and outside atmospheres are very much different. The college has many established clubs and societies like the musical club Manthan, dancing club LITM and WTC, Dramatics Club ADC, etc. Our college honours the antique structure and thus has many buildings on the same theme.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are provided to every student. Two students are allowed a single room, and really rooms are very less spacious, especially for Jasper and Amber hostel. Although hostels are equipped with LAN connection, water cooler, a common room to play indoor games, badminton courts, canteen, etc.
Admission
One needs to clear Jee Main and Jee Advanced and attend the Josaa counselling to take admission to the college. Jee Main is conducted by NTA and the cutoff for was decided for various categories and those who clear the cutoff advances to Jee Advanced. Advanced is conducted by various IITs (each year a different one from the previous year).
