I choose this course as my rank was eligible for this only and also have a little bit of interest in this field. All faculty are well-trained and educated and experienced in the field of teaching, we give 3 internal in every semester.

Placement Experience

As the location of the college is in the main metropolitan area of Kolkata, so many companies come here for placement, like WIPRO, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. with an average placement of 400000. And almost 95 percentage of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no frequent fee hike the fee is quite above average concerning other colleges. Students of west Bengal can avail of Student credit card loans and the TFW scheme very easily as the college is registered.

Campus Life

We have one building on campus, campus life is average, and it is quite small in length. We celebrate our fest in collaboration with other two colleges Heritage and IEM. All sports activities are done in college. Books are available in the library.

Admission

Anyone who appeared for WBJEE and JEE mains and cleared it with desired college rank is eligible for admission. Students from backward societies get quota seats, and financially weak students can avail of TFW scholarships from the West Bengal government.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
