Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is impressive. I chose this course because I connected with a few alums, and I got excellent reviews. The faculty is outstanding and supportive. The ratio is 1:12 . Case-based teaching is followed. All subjects have End term exam at the end of the trimester. Some subjects have Midterm exam that happens tri-weekly

91 companies visited for summer placements. The average package was 1.17 lakhs for 2 months, Prominent recruiters include Deloitte, BAIN, ICICI Bank, Titan, Emami Limited, ITC, etc. Roles offered were 21% consulting, 20% manufacturing, 12% FMCG, 21% IT, 16% BFSI, and 10% others

For final placements, students are eligible from 4th term. There were 71 companies that visited Highest Package is 71.5LPA and the Average package is 20.03LPA. XIMB records 100% placements for this batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is around 11 lakh per year. J.Philip scholarship worth Rupees 2 lakhs. University Fellowships of 75% to Ph.D. students. I got an internship offer with a stipend of 40k and the final placement was 17.5lakhs

Campus Life

Life at XIMB is super fun. Various leadership talks are organized as part of academics. Apart from that a lot of fun events are organized by different clubs. The annual fest is Xpressions. The books are available in Library. The classrooms are air-conditioned. The sports committee organizes different events throughout the year. There are 4 core committees like media and PR cell, Placement cell, there are functional committees like marketing, finance committees, and there are interest committees

Hostel Facilities

The room rent is 40k for single-sharing rooms. It has cupboards. students need to pay 12000rs for the student's residence administration fees a year. for twin sharing it charges INR 29000 in 1st year and INR 30000 in 2nd year

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Cut-offs are - CAT - 91 XAT - 90 GMAT - 80 X-GMT - 911 Application forms can be found on the college's website. There is a 50% reservation for domicile students. The cut-off for domicile is as follows: CAT - 81 XAT - 80 GMAT - 75 X-GMT - 81

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

I have choose these couse because I have do mba in agriculture.teaching is very good but teacher teaching only in notes or exam point of view some teachers.and some teacher only read and saying not writing pn blackboard. IMI offers 100% placements. Companies like SBI life , Kodak, Taj Hotels , Infosys come. In the first year we are given plenty of placement preparation training. We have a committee particularly dedicated towards it. Be it quant, reasoning, gd all are being taken care of.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

Entrance Preview:

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.

I had applied to IIM's , XLRI Jamshedpur, IMT Gazhiabad. I had been selected for IMT Gazhiabad dual country program (PGDM-DCP). I had given PI for several IIM's, got selected for IIM Sambalpur and IIM Bodhgaya also but did not go there. And the colleges I could not convert are because of the questions related to my undergraduation. I had answered all the questions related to my work experience that they had asked. Overally I had performed not upto the mark, so did not get selected. Admission process in our college is through CAT, XAT and XGMT exam. Generally cut offs for this college goes around 92 percentile for non domicile and 91 percentile for domicile students. I had scored 95.80 percentile in CAT 2023. A short summary about XIMB

I opt for this college because it's one of the top five best college in east india it's reputed government registrar and trust worthy. the placement and infrastructure is also very good. I didn't apply for many colleges I just applied for St Xavier's College Ranchi I gave the written and interview and was cleared in both the exams but because of its infrastructure and no placement I didn't went there. Admission to XIMB can be secured in 3 ways: CAT, XAT, and XGMT. The exams are held from November to January time frame and the admission forms open from around October goes on till January.
