It's a good college altogether with good crowd and an amazing campus. It has a good management you get nice opportunities. The people are good the staff knows what they are doing and the culture is good there is no racism no negativity. It's a happy colle

Direct diploma second year 84%. This college has the name fame and quality all in one in it. I took admission for the direct after diploma course. It is one of the best college for mechanical. And the staff has great knowledge. There are other colleges but sinhgad also has a lot of other opportunities along with academics.

Mechanical engineering is a fun branch for those who have the interest in this field. It has subjects like som Tom dom maths and core subjects like fluid mechanics thermodynamics etc. It's hard if you don't have the interest.

The college supports internships for maximum 2 months. You have to find an internship for yourself and take the hod permission on the college letter head. For girls Cummins offers an internship for girls with good marks and they are sent from the college. Stipend depends upon the company.

There are pretty good companies coming in but again there os a lot of competition. If you want a job after be and if you are an average student the job scenario is not good as sinhgad has centralised placements. So I would recommend other good colleges for eg Cummins for girls. Job scenario is excellent.

Sinhgad is know for its cultural activities. Sinhgad kalandar is a national event held in January,February where everyone who wants to showcase their talent gets an opportunity to do so in front of thousands of people. Also there are amazing concerts where international singers perform eg jay Sean.

For open its around 1 lakh which is okay if we compare with the other colleges. But sinhgad is a bit expensive. For once it's around 50-60 k and for school dt it's 10000. Also for the caste students scholarships are offered by the government.

Facilities offered by the government are the best scholarships also there are alot of other organisations where you have to apply separately based on merit and your financial background you get various scholarship.

The labs are well equipped. We have an amazing campus with WiFi connections allover. It's a huge campus with a huge cricket ground and alot of amenities. It's green everywhere and it's very peaceful. The gender ratio is equal. Alot of girls. There are alot of foreigners who study here,it's a very friendly kind of an environment. There is no ragging. People are very helpful here.

Hostels are okay. 3 people in one room. 3 cupboards they give you new pillows and you have hot geyser water available. Water purifiers on every floor helpers for cleaning your rooms etc. The mess food is okay. Recently it has been better. You get decent f

The seniors are good. They are helpful and friendly. We can see them now and then coming to the college to meet the professors. The college has a good alumni connection altogether. Everyone is together.

It comes under the pune university so the exam structure is according to the university guidelines. It's a semester wise pattern and for 3Rd and 4th year you have a 70/30 pattern where 30 marks are given for the in semester examined 70 for the end semeste

The faculty of the college is great they know what they are doing they are experienced and they help alot.
