Course Curriculum Overview

4

I specifically chose civil because, as compared to other branches in difficulty it is very easy. so if you want to enjoy your B.Tech life without any hassle or difficulty you can opt for very civil. some subjects are hard but with the help of teachers, you can clear them. The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty much good cause here we got in every lab for every class we have different faculty for different subjects for different branches. The faculty are very much qualified. some are from NIT and IIT, some were pursuing their Ph.D. or mtech for NIT or IIT. The teaching method was purely exceptional, they teach the kids very easily and very comfortably, After every period they would stay and ask for doubts. We have a period for every subject for doubt clearing class. The term exam was divided into 2 exam the midsem and endsem Midsem was of 20 mark and it was easy but the end sem was 70 marks and it is a little tougher so if you don't want back you better start studying 10 day before the exam

Internships Opportunities

4

There is a mandatory of 4-8 weeks of internship from our college. So if you want to enroll you will have take permission from the college. The internship companies are from Tcs and some core companies like Ambuja. You will be assigned to a different place and there you will have to give the accommodation and food charge. The stipend you get totally depends on the internship you take it varies from 4-5k.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement in our college in our branch on average not too high nor too low like annual 600000 which is good for a civil branch. From the 6th semester, a student will be eligible for placement to sit and will get a job. The companies that visit our branch are mainly IT jobs like from TCS or Accenture from core we get LnT. The highest package offer in a year is 1200000 and the average will be 600000. The percentage of students getting placement is 75%. I am pursuing MBA after Btech in Civil.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for our branch (civil branch) was 15k for day scholars and hostellers. The fee has to be paid through the college website before the fine date or you will be fined 500,1000 rupees more. I was a hosteller so my hostel fee was for food 14k and rent 5k, total it was 19k. There will be many scholarship opportunities for you, it's on you to choose which one according to your time You will get internship opportunities from Ajanta or Mahindra or Tata. Stipend really varies on the internship you take like from 4k-5k.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest conducted over here is really jovally and exciting. Due to covid, we didn't get our 2 yr fest but after some time, the college conducted it. our tech fest name is exuberance. The social life here is very good for butterfly students as well as introverts. The books and journals are very much available here and books and subjects from our branch are also available in our Library, so if you want to study from a book you will have to issue them. Sports are also a major part of the college like Interdepartmental matches, intercollege matches, and the engineer's cup, etc. There are many clubs here to participate like amuza, zairza, civicon for photography or drama.

Admission

The admission process was through Jee counseling. It was very easy as compared to other like josaa or ogee.I got 80% in jee mains. There will be 3 rounds of counseling to get into the college. I was selected in the second round, so if you got around 80% and your rank is 1,90,000 you will get Civil or if your luck is good you can get mechanical in 3rd round. Then after you get selected for the college they will tell you to either freeze or float. Then if you got your college you will deposit some amount of around 15k to the college for the admission process. Then you will have to go to the college on the expected dates that will be announced for document verification. And then your admission will be enrolled.

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
