I always wanted to do Mechanical engineering at a good college so I chose that. Here all faculty members are very much helpful and there are lots of professors and many assistant professors. Also here Every group of every batch of each department has their own mentors to guide them through the whole semester. Here there are many teachers who are from IITs and many of them have cracked gate exams as well. Their teaching way is very much impressive as they teach us through our labs where there they use machines to teach us about their functions and their structures. Every semester is for about 4 months and they will take 1 class test every month end, whose difficulty level is moderate as they will as you questions from the syllabus about what they have reached. After that 4 months, they will take practical exams of each subject they taught afterwards finally there was a semester exam whose questions are set by different teachers who may not teach you

College gives internship opportunities with Haldia port and Haldia dock complex, with no stipend. You can do internships on your own as well. The college will also provide an internship in the AICTE lab. They always organise some seminars on placements where company seniors came and give us ideas about the roles

This college has good placements an average of 8 lakhs. After giving 3rd-year 5th-semester exams companies started coming for placements so be prepared before that. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Adani, Capgemini, etc. TCS hire more students from our college every year. The highest package goes to 35 lakhs last year and the average package is 8 lakhs. 80% of students get placed every year. My plans are to get a job from the company and start preparing for government jobs.

The fees of the college are not much high firstly they will take 40000 to register your seat in the college then for the first semester, if the hostel was not taken then you have to pay 47000 and next semester it goes to 58000 and in the next semester they will go to 47200 and in next 58200 similarly, it will go. At last, a totally approx 6-7 lakhs goes to academics and if you take hostels then each semester 12000 you have to pay each, there is no scholarship or financial assistance for outsiders means outside west Bengal. Good companies come here like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Adani and many more and offer many good students good amounts. Here if you study a bit for placements you will get placed but at a low package.

Here life in campus is very good for students as this is a Village area you will not get high fi market in nearby . Here every department has their own clubs to emerge talents from the students . Here infrastructure is also good as you will get a projector classroom whenever needed . There are lots of books and journals in the library where you can go sit and study them all. Here you will get every kind of sports and sports intra-tournaments as well. Every year college will organise a sports day for 2-3 days in the college for students. There are many social groups such as ME CLUB, TARUGAUTDIANS, NIVEDITA, MANAB RACING, VIDYUT, SAMARPAN, VOICE CLUB, etc.

Hostels are of different kinds in our campus such as one hostel has 2 bed rooms where 2 tabels and 2 chairs are being provided with two electricity board and 2 tube lights ,while in other hostels has 3 or 4 beds in one room and same number of chairs ,tables as well. Hostel mess meal is average type but you can tell the mess member to off your day or night meal for a particular day . When you will go to the college for first time you have to meet with one particular person he will allot the hostels and give permission to enter hostel. There were many rented rooms in nearby of college campus

Firstly we have to give the entrance exam named WBJEE and also have to give 20 priority-wise colleges and your preferred course in that college. Then according to your rank in the entrance exam, they will provide you with a course from your that 20 selected courses.
