Course Curriculum Overview
B.Sc. Maths Hons is newly introduced in Shyam Lal College but the faculty members are pretty experienced in maths because they had taught for Bsc Physical Science. They are friendly and very helpful. The teaching method is like old school typical teaching on a blackboard with chalk. But the concept is understandable when they teach.
Internships Opportunities
There are so many companies visiting every year for job fairs for internships for the post of business development manager, human resource, sales, etc. The stipend on average is 5-7k per month. There are so many NGOs also coming for paid and unpaid internships just in case you want to do some social work.

Talking about scholarships there are so many scholarships that DU provides you like the DU UG scholarship and some private scholarships are also there like the reliance foundation scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus life is very happening. You get to choose among so many clubs like Debating Society, Dance society, and many many more. The are so many sports you can play and excel in but there is oy one setback that is they don't have a basketball court which is a negative point for us basketball players. The library is also big enough with so many books there is one reading room also with a research room in which you get computers with an internet connection to search for your queries. The classrooms are very old school with no projector just board and chairs.
Admission
The entrance exam was conducted called CUET. It was an easy paper if you studied well in 12th. It was all MCQ based and you need to give an exam for every subject individually. The application fee was 1300 for Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Physical Education, General knowledge, English, and Hindi. You can find the application on the website of DU admission. I am from the unreserved category but there are so many reservations for OBC, EWS, DELHI QUOTA, SC, ST, DEFENCE SERVICES, etc. The admission process was quite smooth with 3 rounds of cut off and 3 spot rounds.
