Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is completed autonomously. I choose CSE because I want to become a coder. Student to faculty ratio is a single teacher in 50- 60 students class. The quality of teaching is very good. Qualification of the faculty is also great. All the exams are comparatively harder gate-level questions are given in the semester papers.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not too high compared to the other best colleges. Affordability is also up to the mark. Campus jobs are good for the CSE department. I am still a studying student in college. Hoping for the best.

Campus Life

No annual fest in the last 2 years. Tech fest also doesn't take place. The library is the best rather than any other college in Kolkata. Amenities in the classroom are up to the mark. Sports and extracurricular activities take place on a regular basis. There are many clubs which you join and show your skills.

Admission

The admission process was easy and fast. I took admission through the WBJEE exam. Cut off for the CSE department Was approx 3000 rank. For the application form, it would be better to report offline to the admission department of the college

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
