Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. 75 %Attendance is mandatory. The end semester exam has 70% weightage and the rest 30% comprises the class test, attendance, viva, and assignment. The faculty members are great and helpful. The professor is very knowledgeable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Overall fees for a four-year B.Tech program are approximately 4 lakhs. As per my knowledge, College doesn't provide any such Scholarships or financial assistance. But many private bodies provide financial assistance.
Campus Life
Here at HIT, campus life is decent. It has a good infrastructure, laboratories are great and well-maintained. The library has plenty of books and students can issue them. Sports facilities are also good. The college has many social groups and clubs, some are Rotaract for rotary, ghungroo ( dance club), and many more.
Admission
Heritage Institute of Technology, situated in Kolkata, West Bengal is a private engineering college. It is an autonomous college, affiliated with MAKAUT. Admission is done through WBJEE. JEE mains' rank is also admissible. Candidate should apply for WBJEE counseling. Overall it's a good engineering college.
