Electronics & Communication (ECE) is the best branch to choose to allow both electronics core as well as the majority of IT companies to allow ECE students to apply for their company, which increases your chances of being placed as well as gives you the flexibility to opt for Core or IT jobs, while syllabus for ECE is a little bit tough as compared to CS/IT, but overall it is a complete package. In college average teacher-to-student ratio is about 70:1 (1 teacher for about 70 students ), majority of teachers are MTech and Ph.D. holders while there are some guest teachers also for optional students. The college mainly follows the traditional way of teaching on the Whiteboard. There is 2 mid sem (sessionals) and end-semester exams that are majorly on time only, Exams are of moderate difficulty level, and most of the average studying students pass the exams.

Placements are average, there is a training and placement office (TPO), which deals with placement and internship-related work, Samsung is a mass recruiter hiring about 50+ students in different rounds of its visit offering about 12-13 LPA, while there are other good companies like media.net, Flipkart, maruti suzuki , cognizant , JSW, etc.

The fees for the whole course remain the same as deciding on the date of admission, next batch (junior batch) will get a fee hike of about 10%, while fees for the whole course remain the same as it was at the time of admission. My course fee ranges from about 3.1LPA for a complete course (4-year Btech) College offers scholarships for economically weaker students

CULMYCA is the annual fest of the college, which is conducted mainly in the month of march every year, while there are several tech events and competitions which are organized on regular basis by technical clubs of the college or sometimes by some organizations having prizes, while the university has an Active library having about 68k books for different domains and interest, while college has its E-Library platform where students can access E-books as well as other resources like PYQ's, journals, etc. Colleges have traditional classrooms having whiteboards and wooden benches, some classrooms are good but some are in bad condition. There are several Clubs active in college for almost every kind of extra-curricular activity like dance, drama, art, debate, sports, social, technical clubs, etc. All the clubs in the university are run by students while funding comes from the college.

Currently, the college is not offering a hostel for boys, as a new hostel will be constructed, while previously the hostel for boys was given for 1 st year only, the quality of the food was nice, and there are about 3 boys per room. The earlier hostel was allotted on a first come first serve basis, you have to apply for a hostel after admission in 1 st year, if you are eligible, you have to submit a Demand Draft (DD) to the warden's office before a particular date, there are one time fees for hostel about 23k while the mess is on monthly basis charging about 3.5k per month, offering 3 meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you didn't get a hostel don't worry you can o[t for a room and pg in sector 10/11 near the college campus at walking distance of 700 m only.

You can take admission through jee main performance through online and offline modes of counseling, which you can also get admission in this Btech at this college after your diploma (LEET). For online rounds, you have to register on the HSTES site while for offline rounds you can fill out the application form available at the university's official website, registration fees are very nominal and vary year on year. College offers several reservation quotas, Majorly it has an 85% state quota (Haryana students) while 15% is open having no reservation. Inside 85% state quota, there are several category reservations like OBC, ST, SC, TFW, EX-SERVICEMEN, EWS, etc., You must update about form filling after giving jee exams and online and offline forms are filled separately.
