I took this course B.Tech because, from the very beginning, it was clear that I have to do engineering and have to take the Computer science branch which I took also. As I took admitted in the year 2021 which was during covid me term exams were a bit early.

Placement Experience

From the sixth semester students are eligible for the placements. Many companies get into college like TCS, Wipro,pwc cognizant Accenture Infosys Capgemini, Oracle, and many more. The highest on-campus placement was 27 lakhs per annum and the average is about 4-5lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure when I took admission was a total of 4lakhs 14thousands which was 66k in the first semester and 58k in the rest of the 7 semesters. As I am an outside student I didn't get any scholarships. And about campus jobs it's okay.

Campus Life

Fest and Programs are soo common in the college and there are many clubs also which you can get into. Books and journals are easily available in the college. Some of the classrooms are occupied with ac but many are not also.

Admission

WBJEE is the exam which a gave in the month of April in the year 2021 and I got a 9102 rank in wbjee and took admitted in the second round of counseling of wbjee in Techno Main Salt Lake college.WBJEE application fee was 500.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
