IIIT Nagpur

I've opted for iot because I thing in the near future it can have a great application and there will be many job opportunities as technology is rising at an exponential rate. Coming to the faculty ratio its roughly around 1:20 which I think is quite good. All of the faculties are well-trained and educated. Many of them have their phd degrees from famous iits. We can say that iiit nagpur provides quality education. IIIT Nagpur has 2 sessional exams and 1 end sem exam which I think is good. Sessional exams are being held in equal gaps before the end sem. The toughness level was moderate to easy. If you've focused well in classes then exams would be no issue for you.

Placements so are is quite good. Last year's avg package was around 12LPA which is quite good for a developing college. The highest package was around 44LPA and many big companies visited the college premises during placement.

IIIT Nagpur is quite expensive when it comes to the fee structure but I think its all worth it because many other iiits which doesn't even have their own campus charge the same amount of fee too. Considering you are opting for a hostel then the tution+ hostel fee would be around 3.2-3.3Lakhs. Students can opt for various scholarships provided by the central and state government. IIITN has a separate department which provides assistance to students who are likely to get any type of scholarship. Last year's avg placement record was around 12LPA.

Abhivyakti is a cultural event organised at IIIT Nagpur. It's been too much fun in abhivyakti'23 it was such a great fest this year. It consists of various competitions like personality contests, dsnce competitions, war of bands and solo singing, etc. Tantra Fiesta is the annual technical fest organised in IIITN. At last, we have Kshitij which is the annual sports meet of IIIT Nagpur consisting of several sports like cricket, badminton, basketball and many more. There are various clubs in the college, dotslash- it's the coding community of IIIT Nagpur, Artism-the art club, d_taraxia- dance club, eklavya- sports club and many more.

The hostel is quite good here. We have 4 seater and double seater rooms here. As the hostel is still nee it has one of the best facilities. Wifi services are there and also Lan connection is also provided for better connectivity. Hostels are not too cheap and not even too expensive. The mess food was I thing quite good as compared to other colleges. They serve 4 times meal daily which consists of breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

You need a good rank in jee to secure a seat in IIIT Nagpur, the cutoff for general in ece branch almost starts at the 95 percentile whereas for cse core it starts from around 96.7 to 97. The admission process was as smooth as butter. The college faculties are too good & have given us any sort of guidance we needed. They also helped us with how to reach to College and gave the information on how to fill up the admission forms and all.
