Course Curriculum Overview
The reason to choose this course is just optional, I want to do CA(Charted Accountant) so, I joined the course. In this college, the syllabus is more related to the CA syllabus which helps the students to study. The faculty-student ratio is 40:1. In the B.com department there are around 35 teachers, but there are only 60% in house faculty and 40% visiting faculty. There are almost qualified teachers in the college and the visiting faculties are all professionals like CA, CS etc. There will be 5 internal assessments and 1 exam in each semester. The duration of each semester is 5 months. The tests and exams will be not so easy to score, it will be challenging.
Placement Experience
In the college, for b.com from the 5th sem, the placements will start for students. The company like axxenture, Capgemini, London stock exchange etc. Many companies come to hire students. The average package is 3.5 lakhs and the highest package for b.com is 10 lakhs and the minimum package is 2.5 lakhs. Around 40% of students get placements and around 50% of students will choose for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is an annual system where the fees should be paid once a year. Every year for the new batch the fees will get increase. There is a separate fee structure for different courses fees is different for B.com, B.com(Hons) and B.com ACCA. Every sem they will provide scholarships for rank students who score above 7.75 sgpa. The scholarship will be provide based on there cgpa From7.75-8.49 the scholarship amount is 1000,from 8.5-9.5 the scholarship amount is 10,000. For the top 6 students they will get 13000.
Campus Life
There will be an annual fest conducted every year called 'ATHMA TRISHA ', which is one of the big college events. There will be big stage events every month and club activities every week. There are 50+ clubs on campus. There are 6 libraries on the campus, which are both digital and manual and 4 study rooms on the campus. The classrooms are big where 100 students can sit in a class at a time. There are smart tv in every classroom. Every sem There will be a sports fest conducted where all sports competitions will be there which is intra college competitions.
Admission
To get admission in pes the minimum percentage you should obtain in 2nd puc is 80% and above. To get admission in pes first you need to put an application on pesu website, next if your application is approved then they will call for an interview and if you are selected for in interview then we can pay the fees and get admission. There will be no such reservations for admissions.
