Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I love to study plants and botany is my favorite subject in science so I opted for this course. The student-faculty ratio is around 10:7. Faculty members are graduated post-graduated as well as Ph.D. level studied. Term exams are held properly every 5 months and they are so easy.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, students get eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Flipkart. Eckart, Myntra, ICICI bank, futerX, etc. came to our campus for placements. The highest package received by a student was around 8 lakhs per annum and the average package received by students is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. 40 percent of students get placed in companies other students do not take part in all this because they want to pursue their future studies as well. My plan after getting the degree is to study for the CLAT exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for our college and course are constant which is 23000 and the cost of study is so cheap. Many types of scholarships are provided like vice-chancellor scholarships, botanic scholarships, etc. Financial assistance is provided by the college department TIC sir or mam, they will help you to sort your problems. We don't get any job and stipend in graduation level in botany hons. course.
Campus Life
Many types of fests are organized by the college and botany department also itself like Diwali mela, food fest, rang Mahotsav, etc. All types of books and journals are available in the college library itself and of all course all editions new and old. All types of sports are available on sports grounds like football cricket badminton archery etc. Many social groups are run by students like NSS NCC WDC, sports society, art society, botanique society, etc. ALL info about this is available on the college website you can check it out.
Admission
The eligibility of the course percentage should be higher than the cutoff. Application forms are made available on the DU website. Reservation benefits help you to take admission to a good college at low cut-off than the general category. No improvement want in the admission process.
