Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course since I was interested in the computer and IT field and feel it has a lot of scope in the future. In this course, there is a good balance between the teacher and student ratio. The teachers are Ph.D. scholars or have at least a master's degree in their respective areas of proficiency. In a semester there are 2 sessional exams and then the final semester exam. The exams can be passed if the student studies well and continuously throughout the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Amazon, Samsung, Cadence, JOSH technologies, Goldman Sachs, and many more come for internship and placement opportunities. Most of them offer SDE roles. Companies like Adobe also come for female students and offer high packages.
Placement Experience
From the 6th or 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Samsung, and Cadence visit the campus. Adobe also comes for female students. The highest package is 60lpa. I plan on sitting for campus placement as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are fair for the course considering the return on investment. There are many scholarships available for financially challenged students. Students belonging to marginalized groups are given assistance as well. Campus placement and internship opportunities are there.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest that is held called Elements Culmayca. An event for the freshers is also held every year called REIZO. Many books and Journals are available in the library and e-library as well. Some classrooms are equipped with smart boards as well. The sports club- Eklavya is also very active. There are numerous clubs like Srijan for fine arts, Vividha for Dramatics, etc. Lots of extracurricular activities keep going on. There are a lot of technical and coding clubs as well.
Admission
To give the exam you need to have at least 75% marks and clear 10+2. Registration for the exam takes place on the NTA website. JEE Mains score is required for this course. Then you have to apply for counseling on the HSTES website where you will be allotted a college and branch based on your rank and preference.
