Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I love to study plants and their characteristics rher morphology there anatomy their regular functions nutrition and botany is my favorite subject in science so I opted for this course. The student-faculty ration is around 10:5 Faculty members are graduated post-graduated as well as Ph.D. level studied. One of our professors also taught at one of the universities in Canada. Term exams are held properly every 5-6 months and they are easy to Crack.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, students get eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Flipkart ekart myntra ICICI bank futerX, HDFC bank, Birla, tatasky, etc came to our campus for placements. The highest package received by a student was around 8 lakhs per annum and the average package received by students is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. 30 percent of students get placed in companies other students do not take part in all this because they want to pursue their future studies as well. My plan after getting the degree is to study for the UPSC exam. I want to become an IAS officer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of our college and course are the same and are around 23000 and the cost of the study is affordable for all kind of students of any category. Many types of scholarships are provided like vice-chancellor scholarships, botanic scholarships, special principal scholarships, etc. Financial assistance is provided by the college department TIC sir or mam. they will help you to sort out your problems of any kind like financial, academic, etc. We don't get any job and stipend at the graduation level in botany hons course we will only get a job after post-graduation and Ph.D. level studies.
Campus Life
Many types of fests are organized by the college and botany departments also itself like Diwali mela, food fest, rang mahotsav , holi khelo, etc. All types of books and journals are available in the college library itself and of all course all editions new and old. Admission
Course Eligibility is that your percentage should be higher than the cutoff of the college in any particular course. Application forms are made available on the DU website you can check any information regarding than on it http://www.du.ac.in Reservation benefits help you to take admission to any kind of college at a lower cut-off than the usual cut-off of the general category. No improvement want in the admission process.
