Fests like Reverie is one of the biggest fest in whole du
The infrastructure is very good and beautiful
There are events organised regularly in the college campus

Dislikes

There is no hostel facility is washrooms are not that clean
The Wi-Fi facilities are not that strong
As it is a girls college so yes sometimes it feels boring

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in the field of Commerce and that's the reason why I choose BCom as my subject. I am interested in a career in the corporate world and in that the faculty helps a lot. The professors are friendly and helpful. The professors are highly qualified and experienced. The exams are held twice a year

Placement Experience

From the beginning of the third year the students are eligible for campus placements and for the internship opportunities students can apply from the first year itself. A few companies that have visited and have made offers to the students of our college include Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. 80-85% of the students get placed. The average package of our college is 2 to 5 lakh per annum and the highest has gone up to 21 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

In our subject become if we include everything like tuition fee examination fees and all the fee structure is around 60000. The college provides few scholarships, and financial assistance and also provides job opportunities whether paid or unpaid.

Campus Life

Reverie is considered the most awaited annual fest that is conducted in the month of April or May. It is considered as one of the best fest of du. Then the library in our college is huge with a lot of number of books in. The classrooms are well ventilated . The college provides a number of Sports facilities to the students. There are few clubs and Society in the college which helps the students developer skills and networkings with other people and students from other colleges

Admission

The eligibility of our course was on a merit basis. No need for an entrance exam was to be given. The application form is easily available on the DU portal and every detail regarding fees and dates is mentioned there. Reservations are provided in all the colleges at DU

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
