Remarks

Dr.P.K.Patra is our principal who manage carefully to our college but there are many bad remarks like there is no A.C. classroom,power cut frequently,computers are not working properly etc.

I have passed the jee(main) entrance securing 72 marks.according to my rank i pursuing a b.tech seat in this college.

Course structure is very excellent that it will be helpful for better research

Yes,our college provide internship,stipend upto 12,000/-there are many compny come to our college e.g.tcs,maruti suzuki,Nalco,navy etc.

Placement Experience

500 students per year get the placement.companies like Tcs,bosch,nalco,maruti suzuki etc. and having package upto 2,50,000/-per annum come to our college every year.

Every year we celebrate many occasion like car festival,ganesh puja,biswakarma puja etc.and also held performance like freshers party,annual function.we take part in all this programme.

Fee structure is very feasible since it is a govt. College.For b.tech it is 2,20,000/-.For m.tech is 76,000/-.

Our college give many scholarship like merit scholarship of INR-400/-and alumni scholarship of INR 15000-25000/-our student also apply scholarship like medhabeuti,prerana etc.

Campus Life

Our student conversation with another friendly.there is no argument,qurrel,ragging and sexual orientation etc.In our cet cultural society there are many competition like dance,sports, debates etc.in our cet campus there is cricket and volleyball field etc. where we play everyday.

Hostel are very good that rooms are cleaned every day.There are limited seat in our hostel.we have to pay 5330/-for rent and 10500/-for mess

Senior student are very helpful.they give a helping hand when we are in bad situation. There is no ragging behaviour and behave like friend.our cet almni network are better than other.

Exam structure is very good that it will be helpful for being a good achiever in future.labs are very frequently leaving us with that it was chilled out.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
