Course Curriculum Overview
The job opportunities for data sci. Are increasing, Also I liked Cse so I chose this course. The teachers are educated and nice. Teacher:student=1:63 All teachers r qualified many of them have compiled their PhD's studies from NITs and IIITs There were 3 exams in 1st sem: Sessional 1,2 and end-sem. At a month gap b/w them
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 3 Rd sem for placement.Microsoft Amazon and many other companies come to college Highest package=1 crore. Avg package=12 lpa 75% of students get placed nicely I want to join a tech company after college
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are high. For a year academic fees =2,47,000 and hostel fees=1,23,500 for a 4 seater room+mess. General category students having income more than 8 lakhs will get approx. No scholarship. This scholarship depends on the state to which you belong. In scholarships too, there is a benefit given to lower castes. Companies come on campus to take interviews and good and average students get selected!
Campus Life
Annual fest=Abhivyakti.It was the best fest I had seen in my life It included singing+dance+drama comedy casting director was called as a special guest. Tech fest=Tantra fiesta is also nice. There are not any specific months for their occurrence Books r enough you can borrow them anytime except Sunday. The classroom has an Ac+projector and nice teachers. In sports, we play: Basketball table tennis badminton cricket Football We have a Dot slash community made by seniors as a coding group
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 seater and 4 seater rooms. Only veg food is available, there is a small shop in front of the college where we eat non-veg Morning breakfast is best (poha, Vada also Paratha), lunch is ok-ok it's plain food rice and dal I don't like dinner personally you can visit the site IIITN.ac.in and register. you can get a good room on rent 10 km far from buti-bori area
Admission
I got 96.65 %ile in jee mains. I went through jossaa and csab processes and got IIITN Cse with data sci. In 1 St round of csab. The application form for jee mains could be filled out from its official site. The counselling was so long more than 2 months, so this duration should be reduced by jossaa!
