- It is one of the oldest NIT’s in India , some faculties are really great and trying their best ,some students do get great placements at good package.
Dislikes
- Beautiful campus doesn’t guarantee a great college life , It remains Cold during winter and might not want to step out
- Its all great for a moment but you won’t like it much after some time and you will have to share room with 5 roommates,
- And if you are expecting some fests like IIT bombay techfest then you are going to be disappointed
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because technology facilities me and I am super interested in programming and development. Faculty members are sufficient and the ratio would be around 10:1, professors are highly qualified some are Ph.D. IIT's, The last three semester exams were conducted in a single year it was complicated to pass 2nd sem.
Internships Opportunities
Most companies like Microsoft, Wikimedia, amazon, TCL, Byju, offer internships followed by an interview with different stipends, Projects based on IoT, and coding can be done internships are worthwhile and students get deserved outcomes.
Placement Experience
After the end of the 6th semester, students apply for placement and till the 8th semester, the maximum number of students get placed. Companies like IBM, NTPC Limited, Indian Oil Corporation, Brillio, HCL technologies, Microsoft, Bharat petroleum, Wipro, Lowe's, Tally solutions, etc 65% of students are getting placed on average. I will go for placement after getting my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is like a Registration fee = 10500. And hostel fees = 8000 /sem. Mess fees = 21000/semester. College doesn't provide any type of scholarship but is applying for NSP, after the end of the 5th semester we are supposed to apply for an internship with a stipend.
Campus Life
Our college has around 20+ clubs. We celebrate holidays like religious festivals, Freshers, farewell, Teachers' day, women's day, etc. All types of books available in the library related to our courses and GK and also journals. Classrooms are maintained well. Enter-campus tournaments are conducted, and students are trained for public speaking. We have TEDX, Semicolon, and Zerod4y, like clubs.
Admission
The admission process started after the end of Jossa counseling, I was supposed to submit all my required documents to my college by online means and then we were called for physical reporting in the college, your JEE score must be great than 96.85 to get CSE branch, you can find application for on google by writing 'NTA-JEE', Category Is a simple way to crack any exam and get any branch in any college because you haven't to work the same as general One is doing, like an ST guy with 80percentile is getting CSE but a general category guy with 95percentile is getting civil, so yeah category has a separate advantage.
