Most beautiful Campus of Asia- NIT SRINAGAR

I choose this course because I wanted to be a software developer. The faculty at NIT Srinagar is good all are well-educated and very professional. The student ratio is a typical engineering class ratio of almost 8 boys: 1 girl. Exams are conducted twice in a semester which is mid-term and end-term examinations. It requires effort to pass exams.

Various internship opportunities are provided by the college depending on the course and area of interest. Internships can be done in various engineering institutions of the country like IITs or other NITs. I did my internship in ML/AI.

Students become eligible for Campus placement after 6 semesters and various companies do visit a college campus. The highest package in 2021 was Rs 42 lakhs by Microsoft. The percentage varies from course to course. Highest being CSE which in 2021 was almost 90 percent.

The fee structure is based on family income. The fee is to be submitted on semester bases. Students with income above 8 lakhs have a semester fee of Rs 73,000 and those with lower than 1 lakh have a fee of Rs 10,000 College does provide financial assistance to deserving candidates. Stipend does exist for many courses like MTech or PhD but not for BTech.

Life at the campus is good. There are many clubs like the art and culture club, robotics club, and semicolon which is a coding club. Gym facilities are also available and also my magazine is published by the students.

Admission is purely based on performance in JEE Mains examination. Application forms are released on the NTA JEE Mains site and the dates are around January or April. The application fee is Rs 750 for general candidates. The admission process is smooth and as such needs no improvement.
