I want to be an accountant so I choose this course. our college gave the best facilities like the digital process of teaching. Computer. In BCom out 800 students out of 1000. each semester we have 4-5 months. 15 days before the semester exam we have our internal exam

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

Last year of students become eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Flipkart, Hdfc bank, and state bank visited for jobs. average package as per company and profiles offer around 2.50.000-500000. Around 25 Percentage of students get placements. I want to complete my MBA after getting a BCom degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees for one semester are around 3250 so yearly 7500. if any student gets 60 per cent above marks then he can apply for svmcm scholarship which gave 12000 yearly. Last semester we have campusing of many companies like Amazon hdfc bank etc.

Campus Life

We have our annual fest which name HCC alumni. we don't have a particular month for the fest. If you any books from the library you will get any books. we have 2 libraries one is for only study-related books and the other one is the national library. Our classrooms are so big around 100 people sit in one classroom .out college has a sports quota. so if any student is connected with sports then he will also admission to college.

Admission

After HS you can do bcom. Any stream background student can study BCom. Cut off of the college for admission around 88-90 per cent for general. If the student reservation then the cut-off comes down to 75 per cent. you can fill up the online process and submit the college.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I Didn't take any admission test, process is easy Just type in ur documents and wait for the list and then it is done. For me personally my nake came in the second list As I was not a SC/ST/OBC student But students who scored lesser than me were selected in the first list...Read More
