If a person gets selected in one company he is not allowed to seat for campus placement in other companies and also the number of hostels should be increased

I had given the entrance exam of WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (WBJEE) through offline mode and I got 4875 ranks for PCM and got 5000 ranks for pharmacy. I have opted this particular college because I was allocated ECE in this college through joint entrance counseling and my allotted seat in round 1 was unchanged until the last round. So, I took admission in this college. If I have the option to change then I would like to go for computer science

Course structure focuses on many aspects of engineering like we can go to IT industry because we have to learn the knowledge of two programming language C and C++ which is mandatory in our course structure another example is that we can apply for embedded systems and circuit design because we have to learn microprocessor and microcontroller we can also opt for VLSI design and we can apply for communication sector since we have the knowledge of digital communication as well as analog communication, our course include computer architect extra

Yes, our college provide a internship at the end of 6th semester . Since I am currently studying in 5th sem honestly I can comment on that.

In my college there is a rule for placement that once you are selected in the interview , you are not allowed to sit for the different companies interviews because they want to give everybody a chance to get placed somewhere in any company. In our college TCS is the mass recruiter for past 2 years , TCS have recruited over 1000 students. They a salary of 3.34 l.p.a and 6.5 l.p.a to a very few out of thousands

Our college organises mainly two fests:- cultural fests is known as ecleccia and technical fest is known as dakshh , both of the fests are organised on bigger level , in tech fests we organised many events like robomania which is a robot making competition and trackmania which is a robotic race etc in cultural fests we organises dance, gully cricket , music events etc

Fee structure for 1st sem is around 45000 per semester right now which may vary till 4th year but at our time it was just 37500 per semester for first year then 38000 for next year 39000 for 3rd year. 10000 for admission 4000 for library fee 1000 per semester for examination fees

There is some good scholarship for tfw candidate in each and every college of Bengal, there semester fees are 1000 per semester but for that they have to qualify some criteria and there is loan facility offer by my college

Campus life is good as compared to many other college life but due to shortage of hostels we face a little bit of problem. Here in our college gender ratio is almost common as in every other engineering college that is 7:1 which means a girl for 7 boys . In our college there are various types of students who are interested in different types of activities like singing coding, gaming etc

Hostel facilities are good, in fact, I would like to give it a 9 out of 10, hostel rooms are sharing as well as personal, the maximum students in a room is The average rentals of the pg is around 6000 which has to paid quarterly in advance. Accommodation charges are 4000 per month and mess charges are 2000 per month.

The examination structure is as follows: There are 2 internals exam we have to give each exam consists of 30 marks from which they take each avg of this 2 internals and carry overall of 15 marks in the final scorecard 5 marks are assigned for attendance and 10 marks for the class work and rest 70 marks for theory examination in last of semester exam hence total consists of 100 marks for theory and marks distribution for practical is 60 marks for last practical exam and 10 marks for lab copy 20 marks for viva and rest 10 marks for attendance and class work

I got the admission in this institute through West Bengal joint entrance counseling process, to get admission, first of all, I have to enroll for counseling for that I had to make a challan of Rs. 500 through Allahabad bank then after I enrolled for counseling.after then I have to visit the counseling center to proceed for next step there was no of centers for this purpose. In the next step, we had to submit the dd of rs 20000 (as refundable if not taken admission in any college) at the counseling centers

I think our college has a lack of experienced faculty , here one teacher teaches you for 2 - 3 semester and each semester he teaches you something different which is irrelevant to the previous one but we have some experienced teacher , they are teaching to students from past 7-8 years and they have vast knowledge in their subjects,. Their teaching skills is amazing because they uses some new that is good for students
