The college experience is fun. Full of ups and downs but awesome to say the least. The learning curve is exponential. The food, cafet, nescafe, icecream outlet, maggi corner etc will never be forgotten

I took aieee and upsee. Through aieee I got jaypee and through upsee I got kiet, ghaziabad. I choose kiet because it cost me less.

The course was good but the only problem was the absence of electives in final year as the college choose them for us without any input from us. We had two languages(c and java) and all other core subjects necessary for any IT student. College also provided opportunity to learn other platforms such as android etc. There were management subjects as well to help us learn the basic of management.

The college calls in a few companies and there is a process of selection there after. If you get selected you are offered an internship opportunity by the company. They may pay you or ask you to work as an intern without any pay. The stipend varies from 2k to 15k. Other students have to arrange for internship themselves.

Epoque : the annual cultural festival is 2-3 days long with all possible activities in it. It has a star night as well. Lit test : with debates and other activities. Farewell (dept wise) and freshers (college level). Technical fest : with inter college participation. Sports fest and department events. Etc

Fee is not too much. They charged around 1lakh the first year and 80 k for next 3 years when I was there now it may have increased a bit. It was a feasible fee structure for me anyway as I was a fee waiver student (top rankers) and only had to pay 9k approx for an year. Though the facility provided are worth the fee. No extra charges are asked for.

Fee waiver for branch openers. Central govt scholarship for low income students (5k-10k a year). State govt scholarship for low income students also based on category and minority status (40k - full fee refund).

It was 4 years of non stop fun and learning. You would enjoy the experience of you find a good circle. I myself won a state level debate while I was in college. The college gives you ample opportunities in every field to showcase your talent. The gender ratio is a bit skewed not as much as in other colleges though.

I have not stayed in the hostel. It has a huge hostel accommodation facility so no scenario of shortage. Food was avg as it would be in any mess. The fee was 65 k for double sharing. There are many local hostels outside though. Which charged somewhere between 30k to 50k. You could also rent an apartment at Radheshyam vihar or Rajnagar extension at good price.

Seniors were awesome. Always very helpful and there was no or minimum ragging in college. Alumni network is strong and if you have good connections with them you can expect a lot of help after college as well.

There are 3 sessional exams and 1 semester exam in each semester. There are two semesters in one year. Two sessionals and semesters are mandatory to appear for in one semester. Labs and practicals are also there. Internal and external practicals. But still you are left with a lot of time at your hands to enjoy. 70% attendance is mandatory. College hours are 9-4:30 with an hour lunch break and weekends are free.

I applied through my upsee rank which was 7k approx . I attended the uptu counseling by submiting a dd of 500 rs and confirmed my admission after getting kiet by submiting a draft of 5000 rs. I went to the college the next day and submitted a fee dd after getting my documents verified.

The faculty is very supportive. Most of them are good at teaching the subjects alloted to them. For important subjects such as DAA and DSUC we had a really good professor. Soft skills training was also provided by 3 very skills trainers as part of regular curriculum.
