4 Years Of Experience

As I told already our college provided us the best education and maintained a huge library. In 4 years we didn't need to buy books from external stores. Our library helped us providing books through the 4 years. The only negative point our college could not provide placement opportunities for civil and mechanical departments as they did for CSE, IT, ECE, EE and other streams.

I ranked 7881 in WBJEE. As this kind of rank holder, I choose this college especially because of its Placement Quality in past years. Also, it has a great infrastructure in every field of education.

The course structure is sufficient for B.Tech students to make themselves suitable for IT Industry. In 4th year we had a project who provided us the experience to work in Industry. Besides we had an Industrial Training which helped us to get familiar with the IT projects.

Yes, Intel provided us internships by selecting students through interviews. Intel offered a stipend of 22,000 INR per month. Besides Microsoft offered us to get membership in their Microsoft Student Partner Program(MSP).

For IT & CSE guys there are plenty of opportunities in the field of placements. Many of reputed companies visited our college like Microsoft, Intel, TCS, CGI, Thought Works, Capgemini, Fusion Charts and many more. I got placed into TCS. 90% of our students placed in TCS. But Civil and Mechanical Streams are not a good option in our college.

We had various events in our college days.. The events are as follows -> Technical Fest : 'Edge' was our technical fest.. In edge they use to organize events like Gaming, Coding Contest , Contests on Business Ideas and many more with exciting prize monies. Cultural Fest : Our college use to organize a cultural fest named as 'Anakronous'.. Several events like Solo Dancing, Solo Singing, Group Dancing, Band Performances, Fashion Show and many more which provide the opportunity to showcase talents. Besides Football tournament ,Cricket Tournament(Techno Premier League - TPL), Chess Tournament are used to organize annually.

The fees structures are well designed for the students from mediocre family like me.. It summed up to near around 4 lacs in 4 years. There are also options for TFW students to continue their education at low cost which they can afford. It is feasible for students not expensive.

I don't have much idea in this ground. But one of my friend took education loan from PNB. The officials of PNB told they served loans for students having ranks below 20,000.

Campus life of us were awesome. The infrastructures provided to us were good. Yes there were competitions in robotics and the seniors take classes on robotics in a weekly manner. As I told already infrastructure for Labs and sports were very good as provided to us. The gender ratio can be 8:1 as Male:Female.

There are no hostel facilities provided by our colleges. But in saltlake area there are plenty of hostels and messes which students can find out easily. The foods of our college canteen were a little expensive but still we managed to have lunches in college canteen.

The seniors we met were really helpful.. They took Tech classes, Robotic Classes and kept us updated.. They were sufficient for us to learn Ethical Hacking, to get familiar with professional software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Android App Development, Web Development and many more.

The exams structure were pretty good. Exams were conducted in a very disciplined way. We never felt any headache during exam days. They conducted all these in a very well organized manner. They provided their students best service at the very best of them.

After getting the rank card I followed the WBJEE website for e-counseling. Then I made my choices and selected Techno India in the 1st round of counseling. There were 3 rounds of counseling in total. Then at the due date, I visited the reporting center and locked my college after the 1st round.

Faculties were excellent. They put their 100% effort to provide the best teaching and training to their students. Specially in Labs, the assignments they provided, helped us to understand the concepts properly. Specially JAVA, CPP & Networking Labs they provided were excellent. It helped us in interviews also.
