Good for placement

Management is quite good and teaching quality is decent. But looking at its expensive fee structure one should opt for govment institution if he gets.

Kiit conducts its own entrance test Kiitee. If one gets rank under 3500 then you can choose any branch of your choice. It is best private college in the easten region in terms of placement and mostly students are placed in IT company mass recuiter. Kiit is best known private college (no 1 as per the pioneer newspaper in 2012) and in 2017 as per mhrd its holds 36th rank in india.

If you are research oriented then the college might not be good for you as the college did not get any fund from state or central government but if you want to be placed in a multinational company mostly mass recruiter then you can easily placed in it

The college did not provide any internship you have to arrange a minimum of 60 days internship as per the curriculum during summer vacation. for Electrical you can do the internship in OPTCL which is within the radius of 1 km of the college also the college provide accommodation for the students undergoing internship during summer vacation

Placement cell is the best department of KIIT they prepare you for the placement from the mid section of 3rd year and you will definitely place in an IT company at the beginning of 4th years but regarding the Placement in your domain you have to work hard and also good CGPA matters during Placement in Core company &your fundamental knowledge

Kiitfest is celebrated which is one of the biggest event in the eastern indian parts. Stars like sunidi chauhan, salim suleman are being called during fest. Also each department holds there own technical fest and fresher party. So in almost every month you will get one to two fest.

The fee structure is expensive you have to pay almost 15 lacs for btech course(4 year excluding hostel fee) In Addition you have to pay 70000 during admission for laptop and brazzer which is mandatory. Also in each semester you have to pay 2000(1000 for registration & 1000 for examination fee) which will be 16000 during 4 year course. Also bank will provide student loan if you are financially weak.

Yes banks provide student loan. Also if you get rank under 1000 in kiitee you will be provided with scholarship in each semester (kindly read the prospectus)for this you have to maintain a healthy cgpa. Also topper of each deparment in an semester will receive scolarship.

Campus life is awosome in kiit. Many good food parks and mall are situated near kiit. Also extracurricular activity like Kpl(kiit premier league) kiit mun are organised. There are gym facilites, tennis, badmition court and swiming pool in side the university. Gender ratio depend upon branch (lowest in mech and highest in cs). Also robotics club nss ncc drama society are present to enhance and explore skills.

The hostel are well hygenic and well furnished.Also hostel are provided with wifi having good speed (500kbps avg)You will be provided with bed mattress bucket etc. Bathrooms and rooms are cleaned daily.Also ac rooms are available. Hostel food are also decent. Menu consists of Breakfast-chole bauture, upma, idli, bread, egg, tea, coffee etc Lunch/dinner-rice,roti, dal, fish, chicken, paneer, mutton, briyani etc The fee(65000 @ our time)for both food and stay in hostel is resonable (good quality).

Kiit is the one of the best private institute in the easten part. Also recently kiit has launched website to strength its alumni. Kiit alumni network are present across all parts of the country like bangalore. Hyd. Newdelhi.,kolkata etc

There will be both practical and theoretical exam in a semester. The Labs have well equipped instrument and modern facilities. The theoretical exam consist of 60 marks and 40 marks will be there for internal. One can get easily get 8 pointer if one prepares only for 7 days before exam. In practical there is no backlogs & theory paper have rare backlogs. The university sets its own question paper and also correction is done with in the university.

Regarding admission procedure you have to fill application on website on kiitee.ac.in. The notification of the exam comes Around first week of March and activated up to last week of April The question level for the entrance test is quite easy The entrance exam is conducted online and you don't have to pay any examination fee for the entrance exam Also there is not any stage of group discussion or personal interview stage you can directly get admission based on your rank

Most of the faculties have teaching experience more than 5 to 6 years almost all branches have 4 to 5 PhD holders. Also the faculties are from nit & iit. Faculties are quite cooperative and you can easily clear you doubt after the class & they also visit hostels in the evening
