I choose the IT course in this college because I want to do something in the field of it sector. All faculty member treats us like our own children they always help us if we have any doubt at any time Qualification of most of the faculty are p.hd to M.tech

The company Goldman Sachs offered internships for so many students who qualify for the exam to get internship and also mindtree company provides internships to so many students. we have done so many projects like on astronauts, online food delivery etc

the placement of this college is very good .this college provides the highest package of 24lpa. many companies are visiting this campus like minetree, Accenture, cognizant etc. 95% of students get placed from this college

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for study in this college is 393400 for 4 years. and the hostel fee is not included in this fee actually now I am in 3rd year so to date I didn't get any job yet but get so many internships which were provided by my college with some stipend

Campus Life

Mainly the annual fest is conducted in the month of April or June and the tech fest will be in the month of September every book which is related to our course are always available in the library and in very large quantity. in this college, there are different different sports club after every two months some sports are organised for both girls and boys like cricket, football etc,

We can take admitted to this college through wbjee exam or jee mains exam. this college provides courses like CS, IT, EEE, ECE, ME etc. yes you can get a reservation if you belong to west Bengal you can get the application from the heritage official website everything is explained there

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
