Overall good campus

College was pretty good in terms of campus selection and study they offer, but they should have provide more option for the students. Its a limited option for the future growth and learning experience.

The college review was okay at that time in terms of management, teaching and campus selection. The main reason to choose this college was also the location which stayed in kolkata, the city of joy.

Engineering is everything in life i.e. Science is everyday in life and of course Information technology is the dominant stream in this era. Without IT a person would go 10 years back in our country for sure. The course structure is very good in the college but should add more practical courses instead of theoretical. College always try to bring new training session for different courses which is better for future research.

College provides internship but without pay. Instead of paying to students they charge sometimes from the them. infosys, wipro and knoledge lab are some of the company visit for the internship.

Placement was pretty good of our senior students but average in our batch. Around 55% of the students have placed in the year of 2015 in our college. Most of them are placed in TCS of package 3.2LPA. Some other companies also visit but not in our campus it is a pool campus where plenty of college students appeared, like- IBM,mindtree,teachforindia,zycus,sharechat.

College organized a numbers of events which are- cultural fest, technical fest, freshers party, college day celebrations and saraswati puja. Cultural fest is the biggest celebration followed by technical fest. Some of the local band and musician or singer visit for the cultural fest and college students also participate in this.

Fee structure is feasible in terms of location of the college and management. They charge around 25k extra in the name of training and placements and extra-curriculum which non refundable. Other than that semester fees are around 40k and 1k for exam fee each semester.

I don't think college provide any kind of scholarship. It is upto state government facility whether they provide or not. If you belong to ST/SC or OBC category you can apply for the scholarship in your own state by mentioning the name of college. Loan is also not availed by college. You have to avail it by yourself.

Campus is very small but yes it is well maintained. The campus life is not so memorable but out of the campus has quite good memory. Gender ratio is very familiar, it would be almost 8/10(female to male) and diversity is very high. They organize technical fest every year and training session for skill development. There are some organization also visit college for different talk or they call selected students to attained the talk. Sports are being played there like cricket, football. College organize yearly tournaments for intra and inter-college for both cricket and football.

There is no hostel facilities for the students. They have to find out for themselves. Yes there are lots of rental room and PG's are available which are feasible. Pg's starting cost around 5k per month including fooding and lodging. One more option is in a group of friends could rent the room and they prepare by themselves or rent the cook in cheap price which is better.

College has started alumni network from 2015 which is basically forcefully done by our batch. We have now alumni network but college should have think more into it. We didn't get any help from the senior students because it started when the batch about to pass out, but sure near future it gonna help much.

Exam structure is really hectic in this college. In very two month there is a exam to face and also assignments to do. All the exams and practical labs were held in our own campus. For most of the papers there is practical and theoretical exams, have to attend and pass in both.

Had appeared for the entrance examination- JELET which conducted by WBJEEB in the year of 2012 for the diploma(Polytechnic) students. It is a lateral entry process which allow diploma students to enter in second year of engineering course. After cleared the entrance exam got the rank, basis on that rank had to appeared for the counselling which was shown in www.wbjeeb.in website as notification for the particulars in particular date and timing on given location. Had to brought mentioned documents then you would allow to choose the college.

Faculty and management of the college to have the lecture is good. College has the rule of attendance for the faculty and students at least 75% so that lectures goes well. Faculties of the college are well educated and have well knowledge in respective domain/course or subject. They are very supportive and helpful in nature.
